Site History
How this site came to be...Initially Gretchen and Meg were just running one website together on both Bethany Hamilton and Alana Blanchard but both were soon eager to do even more. They were both passionate about web design and graphic design and had come together through both surfers, Bethany and Alana. Gretchen decided that she wanted to dedicate a whole site to Alana Blanchard because she was going to be doing A LOT of traveling now that she had joined the WCT and knew that her official site was updated maybe three to four times a year. After much thought it seemed like the perfect thing to do and soon Absolutely Alana was born!
Alana's surfing career is now just beginning since she had made the WCT and Absolutely Alana is dedicated to bring to you all the contest info and more on Alana Blanchard!
